Dear Presidents / Chairs of Member Nephrology Societies and Council Members of the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology (APSN)
In 2005 the APSN established the Priscilla Kincaid-Smith Award and the Kenzo Oshima Award to honour outstanding nephrologists from the Asian Pacific region. The Priscilla Kincaid-Smith Award recognises individuals who have made substantial contributions to the science of nephrology, while the Kenzo Oshima Award recognises individuals who have made substantial contributions to the development of nephrology as a whole. Previous recipients of the Priscilla Kincaid-Smith Award included Dr Keng Thye Woo (2005), Dr Kiyoshi Kurokawa (2008), Dr Kar Neng Lai (2010), and Dr Sei Sasaki (2014).
